防癌守則

  • 1. Be as lean as possible without becoming underweight.在標準體重範圍內,保持愈瘦愈好。
  • 2. Be physically active for at least 30 minutes every day.每天至少運動30分鐘。
  • 3. Limit consumption of energy-dense foods (foods high in fats and/or added sugars and/or low in fibre) and avoid sugary drinks. 少吃高能量食物儘量(高脂肪或加糖或低纖維食物)。
  • 4. Eat more of a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and pulses such as beans.多吃多種類蔬菜、水果、全穀類及豆類。
  • 5. Limit consumption of red meats (such as beef, pork and lamb) and avoid processed meats. 少吃紅肉(諸如牛肉、豬肉及羊肉),少吃加工肉類。
  • 6. If consumed at all, limit alcoholic drinks to 2 for men and 1 for women a day. 若必須飲酒,男人每天最多兩杯,女人一杯。
  • 7. Limit consumption of salty foods and foods processed with salt (sodium). 少吃鹹醃食物及有鹽之加工食品。
  • 8. Don’t use supplements to protect against cancer. 不要吃補充劑或補藥防癌。
  • 9. It is best for mothers to breastfeed exclusively for up to 6 months and then add other liquids and foods. 婦女至少哺乳六個月,再輔以其他液體及食物喂哺嬰兒。
  • 10. After treatment, cancer survivors should follow the recommendations for cancer prevention. 癌症患者經治療後,應遵循防癌方面的建議。
  • And, always remember – do not smoke or chew tobacco. 最後,要常謹記-不要抽煙或嚼煙草。
