Bran Muffin (provided by Barb Heil)

  • 材料:
    • Mix: 8 cups of raisin bran (or one 15 oz. box)
    • 5 cups of flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 5 tsp baking soda
    • 2 tsp salt
    • Beat in 4 eggs, 1 cup oil, 1 quart buttermilk
    • Preheat oven to 375F and bake for about 15 minutes.

  • 做法: The unused batter can be kept in refrigerator for future use (up to a month).

香蕉麵包Banana Bread (1 loaf)

Ingredient:
  • 1 1/4 cup flour (can add 2 TBS wheat germ)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamum, 1tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 medium ripe bananas

Procedure:
  • Mix well. Sift through if possible.
  • Cream oil & sugar first, then beat in eggs until light & fluffy, then cream in peeled banana. Stir together everything。
  • Pour batter into a well greased loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350 (F) for about 40 minutes. (Use a toothpick to check doneness.)
